Veicināt makšķerēšanas kā hobija un sporta veida attīstību Latvijā;
Veidot multimediālu saturu, kas vairotu makšķernieku kompetenci par makšķerēšanas iespējām, dažādām metodēm, ūdenstilpēm un zivju sugām; Popularizēt saudzīgu attieksmi pret dabu, gan makšķerēšanas procesā, gan ārpus tā; Vairot Latvijas iedzīvotāju, tai skaitā mazākumtautību, mīlestību pret zemi, kurā dzīvojam, tās īpatnībām un bagātībām; Veicināt Latviju pārstāvošo makšķerēšanas sporta pārstāvju sportiskos rezultātus starptautiskā arēnā, nesot pasaulē Latvijas vārdu. |
