Veicināt sabiedrības veselību, izglītošanu un informēšanu par veselības un slimību profilakses jautājumiem, īpašu uzsvaru liekot uz garīgo veselību, kā arī citiem ar šo jomu un tās profilaksi saistītiem jautājumiem;
Veicināt izglītības gūšanu visos vecumposmos un izglītības ieguves formās, organizējot dažādu veidu kursus, apmācības, interešu pulciņus un nodarbības; Veicināt sabiedrības iesaisti vizuālās mākslas, teātra, mūzikas, grāmatniecības, literatūras, materiālā un nemateriālā kultūras mantojuma un citu mākslas jomu apguvē, kā arī veicināt zināšanu un prasmju attīstību; Veicināt jauniešu personības attīstību, viņiem nodrošinot iespējas pilnvērtīgi pavadīt brīvo laiku, organizēt aktīvas atpūtas pasākumus, veidot izpratni par garīgo un fizisko veselību, attīstīt talantus. |
