| Operational objectives |
1.Veidot spēcīgu, savstarpēji atbalstošu Ilūkstes pilsētas kopienu, stiprināt pilsoniskās sabiedrības vērtības un demokrātijas kultūras kvalitāti;
2.Izzināt un saglabāt Ilūkstes pilsētas, Sēlijas, Latvijas kultūrvēsturisko mantojumu un veicināt tā atpazīstamību, kā reģionālā, tā nacionālā un starptautiskā līmenī, tikties ar citām biedrībām Latvijā un ārvalstīs abpusēji daloties pieredzē; 3.Veicināt Ilūkstes pilsētas kopienas ekonomiskās aktivitātes tūrisma, kultūras, mazās uzņēmējdarbības un citās jomās, kas sekmē Sēlijas attīstību, iesaistoties projektos kā arī piesaistot finansiālos, materiālos, intelektuālos un cita veida resursus; 4.Pārstāvēt Biedrības biedru intereses reģionāla, nacionāla un starptautiska līmeņa institūcijās; 5.Veidot ciešu sadarbību starp senioriem, darba spējīga vecuma cilvēkiem un jauniešiem, radot labvēlīgu vidi iesaistot biedrības aktivitātēs un pasākumos. 6.Veicināt un popularizēt formālas un neformālas izglītības, mūžizglītības un pašizaugsmes iespējas sabiedriskajā dzīvē, dažāda vecuma grupām; 7.Veicināt teritoriju ilgtspējīgas attīstības un pētniecības procesus. |
