Veicināt fizisko attīstību Latvijas Republikā.
Popularizēt veselīgu un fiziski aktīvu dzīves veidu bērnu, jauniešu un pieaugušo vidū, attīstot veselu, sociāli atbildīgu, patstāvīgi domājošu un mērķtiecīgu personību; Īpaši atbalstīt bērnus un jauniešus no mazturīgām ģimenēm, dodot iespēju nodarboties ar sporta aktivitātēm, sekmējot viņu iekļaušanos sporta vidē un sabiedrībā kopumā; Veicināt un popularizēt izglītības un kultūras nozīmi bērnu un jauniešu daudzpusīgā personības izaugsmē; Atbilstoša sporta attīstības materiāli tehniskās bāzes izveidošana, attīstīšana un uzturēšana; Darbība sporta programmu veidošanā, organizēšanā un nodrošināšanā vietējā un starptautiskā līmenī. |
