| Operational objectives |
1. Veicināt pozitīvas sociālās izmaiņas, īstenojot sabiedriskā labuma projektus un sekmējot labdarības izpratni un attīstību Barkavas pagastā un Madonas novadā;
2. Sekmēt pilsoniskās sabiedrības attīstību, iedzīvotāju valsts gribu un līdzdalības procesu norises; 3. Pensionāru sociāli ekonomisko tiesību un interešu aizstāvēšana un pārstāvēšana valsts un pašvaldību iestādēs un privātās organizācijās/institūcijās; 4. Senioru garīgās un materiālās labklājības uzlabošana, sadzīves apstākļu uzlabošana, sadarbojoties ar valsts un pašvaldības iestādēm (institūcijām), kā arī citām biedrībām, organizācijām un uzņēmumiem; 5. Iekļaušanās Senioru skolu jeb 3.paaudzes universitāšu izglītojošā kustībā; 6. Vietējo labdarības pasākumu organizēšana, aktīva, veselīga, kulturāla dzīvesveida popularizēšana kopienā, latviešu tradīciju atjaunošana un turpināšana; 7. Biedru individuāla iesaistīšanās pagasta, pilsētas un novada kultūras dzīvē. |
