| Operational objectives |
1.Veicināt Latvijas iedzīvotāju gremošanas sistēmas veselību, nodrošinot sabiedrībai pieejamu, kvalitatīvu un mūsdienīgu informāciju par profilaksi, agrīnu diagnostiku un veselības pratību;
2.Atbalstīt ārstu, rezidentu, jauno speciālistu un pētnieku profesionālo izglītību, nodrošinot stipendijas, mācību iespējas Latvijā un ārvalstīs, kā arī dalību konferencēs, kursos un pieredzes apmaiņās, lai iegūtās zināšanas tiktu pielietotas Latvijas veselības aprūpes kvalitātes uzlabošanai; 3.Sekmēt zinātnes un inovāciju attīstību gastroenteroloģijas, mikrobioma un sabiedrības veselības jomā, atbalstot pētniecību, grantu konkursus un projektus, kas veicina pierādījumos balstītas, modernas un ilgtspējīgas medicīnas pieeju ieviešanu Latvijā; 4.Stiprināt starpdisciplināru sadarbību veselības aprūpē, apvienojot ārstus, zinātniekus, pacientus, sabiedrības veselības ekspertus, uzņēmējus un kopienas organizācijas ar mērķi uzlabot gremošanas veselību un veidot veselīgāku Latviju. |
