| Operational objectives |
Apvienot Latvijas Universitātes Medicīnas fakultātes studentus, lai veicinātu
akadēmisko, profesionālo un personīgo izaugsmi medicīnas jomā. Veicināt medicīnas izglītības kvalitāti, organizējot izglītojošus pasākumus, seminārus, lekcijas, praktiskas nodarbības un konferences. Sekmēt studentu interesi par medicīnas zinātni, pētniecību un profesionālo attīstību, veicinot sadarbību ar ārstiem, medicīnas speciālistiem un citām izglītības un veselības aprūpes institūcijām. Pārstāvēt biedru intereses Latvijas Universitātē un citās institūcijās, kas saistītas ar medicīnas izglītību un studentu labklājību. Veicināt sabiedrības izpratni par veselības jautājumiem, organizējot sabiedrības veselības izglītošanas aktivitātes un pasākumus. Attīstīt studentu savstarpējo sadarbību, iniciatīvu un pilsonisko līdzdalību, veicinot aktīvu līdzdalību akadēmiskajā un sabiedriskajā dzīvē. |
