Radīt un pilnveidot bāzi medībām un makšķerēšanai, nodrošināt to izmantošanu biedru vajadzībām.
Izkopjot un pilnveidojot vietējās medību un makšķerēšanas tradīcijas un ētiku, organizējot ar medībām un makšķerēšanu, sportu, izstādes, seminārus, atpūtu un kultūru saistītus pasākumus t.sk. iesaistot arī vietējos iedzīvotājus, sekmēt vietējo apkaimju attīstību, medījumu un zivju produkcija un tā pagatavošana. Veicināt un atbalstīt videi draudzīgu atpūtu un dabas resursu ilgtspējīgu izmantošanu t.sk. veicinot sabiedrības informētību par medībām un makšķerēšanu, to lomu bioloģiskās daudzveidības saglabāšanā, veicināt pozitīvu medību un makšķernieka tēla radīšanu sabiedrībā; Atbalstīt un pēc iespējas piedalīties pasākumos zivju, dzīvnieku populācijas un bioloģiskās daudzveidības monitoringa, to aizsardzības un zinātniskās izpētes pasākumos. Iesaistīt Biedrības Biedrus zivju un dzīvnieku aizsardzībā, vairošanā un populāciju bagātināšanā. Medību platību, sporta un atpūtas objektu iegūšana kopīgai lietošanai un apkalpošana. Organizēt likumiem atbilstošu makšķerēšanu un medīšanu, atļautu veidu pielietošanu dabā. Produkcijas un trofeju iegūšana, pārstrāde un realizācija. Organizēt mednieku un makšķernieku kvalifikācijas celšanu, īpaši jauno biedru piesaisti un apmācību, kā arī Latvijas iedzīvotāju izglītošanu jautājumos. Rūpēties par savu biedru interešu pārstāvniecību visās institūcijās, veicināt biedru kvalifikācijas izaugsmi medību un makšķerēšanas jomā, rūpēties par tradīciju saglabāšanu un izkopšanu. Iespēju robežās sniegt palīdzību Valsts un Pašvaldību institūcijām medījamo dzīvnieku ierobežošanai postījumu vietās. Zivju resursu pavairošana un samazināšana. Veicināt medību un makšķerēšanas tūrisma attīstību. Medību un makšķerēšanas tiesību iegūšana un realizācija. |
