Veicināt iedzīvotājus darboties apkārtējas vides sakārtošanai, saglabāšanai un novada teritorijas attīstībai;
veicināt sadarbības iespējas starp dažāda veida organizācijām; sadarboties ar Valsts ugunsdzēsības un glābšanas dienestu (VUGD); organizēt brīvprātīgo ugunsdzēsēju komandu darbību ugunsgrēku dzēšanas un glābšanas darbos; veikt profilaktiskos un organizatoriskos pasākumus ugunsgrēku un nelaimes gadījumu novēršanai sabiedriskajās ēkās, ražotnēs un dzīvojamā sektorā; organizēt apmācības un praktisko iemaņu pilnveidošanu brīvprātīgo ugunsdzēsēju komandām; informēt un apmācīt iedzīvotājus ugunsdrošības un civilās aizsardzības jautājumos; organizēt bērnu un jauniešu izglītošanu drošības jautājumos; veicināt interešu izglītību un mūžizglītību; organizēt un sniegt materiālu palīdzību ugunsgrēku un nelaimes gadījumu rezultātā cietušajiem cilvēkiem; atbalsta sniegšana vecākiem cilvēkiem un cilvēkiem ar īpašām vajadzībām; organizēt kultūras, aktīvās atpūtas pasākumus un veicināt ugunsdzēsības sporta attīstību. |
